Out of coverage?
Your PitPat needs a mobile data signal to keep in touch with us at PitPat HQ, so that we can tell you what's happening with your pet.
If it should go out of coverage, here's what happens:
It'll start searching for a network connection, and may use much more battery than normal whilst it does that.
It won't be able to go into live-tracking mode or report your pet's location. But if it was already in live-tracking mode when it went out of coverage, it will stay live-tracking ready to report your pet's location once coverage is restored.
If it stays out of coverage for a long time, the PitPat app will notify you on your phone, just so you know and can take action (for example, if it's because the battery is flat).
It'll keep safely recording your pet's activity no matter what, and it'll send us that data later on when it's back in coverage.
