What about my phone?
Your PitPat GPS Tracker doesn't talk directly to your phone. Instead, it talks via our internet "cloud" service. That means that to see your pet's location (or activity) in our app, your phone needs a working connection to the internet (just as it does to access your messages, social media, or any other "cloud" service).
Any internet connection will do. When you're out and about, that'll be via your mobile data plan (any network). If you're at home (or in certain other places), it can be a WiFi connection to the internet.
This also means that theoretically you could be anywhere in the world and still track your pet at home (as long as they are in coverage).
