Changing how frequently your PitPat contacts our cloud

To save its battery, your PitPat GPS snoozes when it's not live-tracking. It's still measuring activity, but it's out of radio contact.

When it's snoozing, we can't contact your PitPat GPS directly, Instead, it stays in touch by waking up briefly every few minutes, and using its built-in mobile link to ask us "Do you want me to start live-tracking?".

If the answer is "No" it goes back to sleep. If the answer is "Yes" it wakes up fully, fires up its GPS tracking, listens for satellites, starts calculating where it is and begins sending back location updates every 10 seconds.
