How to convert units
Sometimes, the calorific value (or energy density, or any similar term) of a particular food might be given in units other than kcal / 100g (kilocalories per hundred grams) or kcal / oz (kilocalories per ounce).
If so, here's how to convert other units into kcal / 100g:
